Fall is the season to gather seeds and store them for the season to come. Join us for a walk around Parisian Parks, gathering seeds and learning how and why to save them. Led by designer and ecofuturist Lily Consuelo Saporta Tagiuri.
Seeds are our link to the past and our investment in the future. They are a technology and a series of poems; An acorn that fits in your palm growing into a massive oak, a small black watermelon seed transforming into a juicy red fruit, one fig having hundreds of seeds that could become as many trees.
Seed Bomb Bike Ride
A workshop learning about guerrilla gardening. Participants will make seed bombs and then go on a bikeride through Paris to spread them. Followed by a plant based lunch.
Observing the Invisible: Mycelium Workshop with Aléa
In this hands-on workshop, we explore mycelium, the vegetative body of fungi, through observation and engagement with its growth. Participants will assemble their own observation studies to take home, working with local substrates to watch transform over time.
The workshop emphasizes careful attention to living systems and encourages reflection on our relationship to the more-than-human. It invites participants to cultivate forms of observation that support both creative and ecological thinking, approaching growth as a process in which time, change, and interaction become central to understanding and practice.
